In the early hours of Saturday 21 December, members of Surrey Contingent 2,
including Frances, James, Jon, Mike & Rob, gathered at Woking District Scout
HQ for their final farewells to friends and family.
In a flurry of activity, bags were piled onto the coach and the contingent
departed for Heathrow.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the day, members of Surrey Contingent 1
including
Alex, Chris, Dan, Jez, Kieran and Steve gathered at Addlestone HQ to say their
goodbyes. They too were destined for Heathrow.
It seemed strange that in about 15 hours time they would all come together
again ... in Thailand!
