Last minute broadcast on the BBC

Dan and Jez made a second bid for a regular morning slot on the Ed Douglas Breakfast Show when they brought Surrey and Hampshire listeners up to date with news of the 20th World Scout Jamboree.

With just over 24 hours before departure they visited the BBC Southern Counties studios for an "on air" chat with Ed. They gave updates on their fundraising efforts, an outline of their programme for the next 3 weeks and on the progress made in Project Sabir. 

Describing them as the "friendly Scouts" Ed invited them to come back again in the New Year and let the audience know how they got on. Watch this space .... !
