| Mayor of Woking gives Civic send offWith less than two days before they set off on the trip of a lifetime, the Mayor of Woking, Councilor Mehala Gosling, gave a Christmas Civic Reception in honour of the Woking Contingent.
Hearing about some of the projects they will take part in, the Mayor wished them every success and sent her personal greetings to the people of Malaysia and Taiwan who will be hosting them after the Jamboree. She asked that the contingent should take a plaque bearing the Borough's coat of arms to their host towns as a sign of friendship. Woking Borough Council is one of the key supporters of the Woking Contingent. Click here for more details of the help they have given. |
