Waitrose customers support busking Scouts

On 2 March the Woking Contingent made their first public appearance outside Waitrose supermarket in Goldsworth Park.

 

The day was cold but the guys were undeterred in their new Woking Scout t-shirts as they played a wide variety of music to the shoppers.

 

They also manned a display outlining the 20th World Jamboree and collected donations from the appreciative customers.

Probably the most popular were the sax performances of "Water Melon Man" by Alex and Jez from the childrens climbing frame!
