Jonathan (Jon) - former 1st St. John's

Going to the Jamboree is a great privilege and I can think of hundreds of people who would want my position. I am really looking forward to meeting people, both in the contingent and from other countries. I'm hoping for a memorable and enjoyable trip that I will be able to tell others about.

A bit about me

I am a student at Priory LSST, in Lincoln, where I am studying for my GCSE's. I love rock climbing, mainly at Rock City and would climb every day of the year if I could! I enjoy football (I support Blackburn Rovers), biking and most other adventure sports. I also, of course, like Scouting!

I play the French horn, keyboard, guitar and drums (taking lessons in all of them and costing me the world!). When I'm not doing any of that I'm either in bed, doing homework or chillin' with mates.

Cub Scout- Became a Sixer and achieved the Cub Scout Challenge

Scout - Senior Patrol Leader. Obtained my Leadership Award, Patrol Activity Award and Chief Scout's Award. Working towards my Chief Scout Challenge (completed the training weekend in Snowdon, October 2001)
